Job Role:
To assemble hydraulic systems, including reservoir tanks, and related components, ensuring precise alignment, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This role involves working with complex assemblies requiring a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Tasks:
- Assemble hydraulic reservoir tanks and systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, and other hydraulic components.
- Install and integrate pumps, filters, and control components within the hydraulic system.
- Use advanced tools to achieve precision in assembly and alignment of parts.
Technical Interpretation:
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Understand and implement hydraulic flow and pressure requirements in assemblies.
System Integration:
- Conduct the integration of reservoir tanks into larger hydraulic systems or machinery.
- Ensure proper connection of hoses, seals, and fittings to prevent leaks or malfunctions.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform pressure and functionality testing on hydraulic assemblies to verify performance.
- Inspect components and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and operational requirements.
- Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
Tool and Equipment Usage:
- Operate tools like hydraulic presses, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
- Handle and maintain specialized equipment for hydraulic system assembly and testing.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling pressurized systems and heavy components.
- Use appropriate PPE and adhere to company and industry safety guidelines.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, testing results, and quality checks.
- Communicate assembly or design issues to supervisors or engineering teams.
- Keep record of production target compliance and schedule as directed by Supervisor
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in hydraulic system assembly, including reservoir tanks and associated components.
- Strong ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
- Experience with pressure testing, leak detection, and system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hydraulic principles, including flow, pressure, and system efficiency.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on high-quality outputs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in assembling hydraulic systems, reservoir tanks, or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic principles, components, and tools (e.g., pumps, valves, hoses).
- Relevant trade qualification or technical certification in mechanics, hydraulics, or mechanical engineering is advantageous.
- Experience in pressure testing or hydraulic system troubleshooting is a plus.
- Engineering background or degree desirable
